Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana Region has agreed to develop cooperation with Saudi companies KUNZITE JEWELRY and CHARMANT in jewelry manufacturing and processing. Following negotiations, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The meeting took place in Riyadh during a working visit to Saudi Arabia by Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov. The talks were attended by KUNZITE JEWELRY Chief Executive Officer Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Masari and CHARMANT head Mishal Al-Debeyan.

The parties discussed attracting foreign investment in the region’s jewelry industry, establishing modern production facilities and implementing joint projects.

Bozorov presented Ferghana Region’s industrial and investment potential, as well as the conditions created to support business development.

Particular attention was given to opportunities to combine national jewelry-making traditions with modern technologies and international expertise.

Potential areas of cooperation include producing higher value-added goods, expanding export markets, improving the skills of local specialists and introducing advanced manufacturing practices.

The signed memorandum is intended to promote practical cooperation and further develop joint initiatives in Ferghana Region’s jewelry industry.
