Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Members of the Special Staff of the Ministry of Energy on 15 September 2020 visited Amudarya and Nukus coal bases of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to analyze the progress of preparations for the autumn-winter period of 2020-2021.
After analyzing the state of affairs on the spot, members of the Special Staff gave appropriate comments and recommendations.
Throughout the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021 consumers will be supplied 65.5 thousand tons of coal products, which will exceed the previous figure by 26.2 thousand tons or 67%.
Of these, 56 thousand tons of coal and briquettes will be delivered to the population, 9.5 thousand tons to budgetary organizations.
In order to ensure a stable supply of coal products to consumers in Karakalpakstan, 6 coal warehouses equipped with 6 loaders, 7 trucks and other necessary equipment have been prepared for operation.
