Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — IT Park Uzbekistan discussed opportunities to attract international investment to Uzbek technology companies with Princeville Capital and Hypernova Capital during ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026.
The talks were attended by Princeville Capital Partner Antony Dow and Hypernova Capital Managing Partner Tugce Ergul. The sides considered investment opportunities for Uzbek startups at different stages of development, from early-stage projects to growth-stage companies.
The discussions covered mechanisms for co-investment with local venture capital funds, access for Uzbek startups to an international network of investors and the promotion of technology companies in foreign markets.
With Princeville Capital, IT Park Uzbekistan representatives separately discussed opportunities to build a pipeline of promising artificial intelligence startups. Such projects are expected to enter the fund’s investment pipeline and subsequently attract international investors at later stages.
With Hypernova Capital, the discussions focused on attracting capital from Asian LP investors to Uzbekistan’s venture capital ecosystem. The participants considered opportunities to establish links between local venture capital funds and an international network of LP investors, as well as ways to increase Uzbekistan’s attractiveness to Asian capital.
The sides also discussed developing contacts between Uzbek startups and investors and mentors from Silicon Valley, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Potential areas of cooperation included industry, artificial intelligence, sustainable development and digital transformation.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue work on expanding international investment flows for AI startups, attracting capital from Asian LP investors to Uzbekistan and strengthening links between the local venture capital ecosystem and the global investor network.
