Uzbekistan’s mung bean exports in 2024: Key markets and volumes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan exported 123,400 tons of mung beans in 2024, generating US$99.4 million in revenue, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency.

China, Kazakhstan, and Russia were the largest importers of Uzbek mung beans, with China leading the market by purchasing 112,100 tons. Kazakhstan imported 5,400 tons, while Russia received 1,600 tons.

Additionally, Uzbekistan supplied 806 tons of mung beans to the Netherlands and 435 tons to Pakistan. Exports to other countries totaled nearly 3,000 tons.
