Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with Johanna Maria Ogren, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.

The sides discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, attracting Finnish companies to new projects in Uzbekistan, and developing direct ties between the business communities of the two countries.

The participants noted growing interest among Finnish businesses in the Uzbek market. The sides agreed to make more active use of existing cooperation mechanisms, including the Intergovernmental Commission and sector-specific business forums.

Following the talks, the sides confirmed their readiness to promote specific joint projects and continue efforts to strengthen a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership.
