Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ministry of Digital Technologies held a meeting with Marven Garbaa, Head of Europe and Eurasia Cooperation at the World Economic Forum (WEF), and Dietrich John, a representative of the Europe & Eurasia – Centre for Regions, Trade & Geopolitics.
The meeting focused on the WEF’s priority areas of activity, the organization’s ongoing projects, as well as Uzbekistan’s key priorities in digital development.
For reference, the World Economic Forum is an international platform bringing together representatives of government bodies, business, academia and civil society.
The Forum promotes dialogue and cooperation on important issues on the global and regional agenda. It was founded in 1971 and is headquartered in Cologny, Switzerland.
Particular attention during the talks was paid to further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the WEF, identifying opportunities for engagement in promising areas and developing joint initiatives.
The sides exchanged views on continuing mutual dialogue and promoting new areas of cooperation.
