Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Belarusian IT company ISsoft Solutions is considering Uzbekistan as a potential jurisdiction for its international expansion. The company is discussing a phased entry into the Uzbek market, starting with the registration of a local legal entity without initially relocating employees.
The issue was discussed at a meeting on 26 October between a delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan led by Export Development Director Jahongir Kagirov and Alexander Drobyshevsky, Deputy CEO for Innovation at ISsoft Solutions, IT Park Uzbekistan reported.
The parties reviewed the company’s prospects in Uzbekistan, options for establishing a legal presence and the most suitable model for cross-border operations. Discussions covered maintaining remote work arrangements and potentially expanding the business at a later stage.
IT Park representatives outlined the conditions for obtaining resident status, tax incentives and the specifics of doing business in Uzbekistan.
As part of its efforts to diversify international operations, ISsoft Solutions is exploring new markets, including in Asia and Latin America.
According to IT Park, Uzbekistan is being considered in light of the incentives available to IT companies and opportunities to integrate into international technology services supply chains.
The company plans to complete a comparative assessment of potential jurisdictions by the end of 2026 and determine its international expansion model. Uzbekistan’s conditions will be evaluated alongside proposals from other markets under consideration.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussions on the organisational and legal aspects of a potential entry into the Uzbek market.
