Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — IT Park Uzbekistan presented the country's startup ecosystem at the international FLY ASIA 2026 exhibition in Busan, South Korea, holding talks with more than 30 South Korean IT companies and venture organizations, as well as international partners.

One of the key outcomes was the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Busan Startup Investment Agency (BSIA). The agreement provides for closer cooperation between the startup ecosystems of Uzbekistan and South Korea and expanded opportunities for technology companies in both countries to work together.

The exhibition also gave Uzbek startups an opportunity to present their solutions to international investors. Datagaze, a resident company of IT Park Uzbekistan, participated in the FLY ASIA Awards competition and showcased its technology solution during the IR Pitching investment session.

During meetings with representatives of Series Ventures and Headline Asia, the parties discussed opportunities to attract venture capital for Uzbek technology projects and establish direct connections between local startups and international investors.

Talks with Indogen Capital focused on potential support for Uzbek companies seeking to enter the Indonesian market.

IT Park Uzbekistan also reached an agreement with BCCEI to launch mutual Soft Landing programmes designed to help startups enter new markets and adapt to local business environments.

In addition, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan held discussions with T-Hub, Startup Island, Turning Point MEA and InnoEx. The meetings focused on prospects for promoting Uzbek startups in India, Taiwan, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Particular attention was given to the potential use of the SkalePLUS platform and its partner network to expand the presence of Uzbek IT products in the South Korean market.

As part of the exhibition, IT Park Uzbekistan also met with representatives of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority in the United States, Japan's Ehime Prefecture, Thailand's InnoQuest organization and IT Park Mongolia.

Separate talks with South Korean companies Mbas, Asak Korea and C&M PLUS focused on opportunities for business and technological cooperation.

Participation in FLY ASIA 2026 provided a platform for establishing new business contacts and discussing ways to promote Uzbek technology solutions abroad.

The memorandum and agreements reached during the exhibition lay the groundwork for further cooperation in the startup sector, investment attraction and the expansion of Uzbek IT companies into international markets.
