Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Beeline Uzbekistan hosted a Demo Day for VEON leadership, members of its Board of Directors and key partners, showcasing how the company is expanding its role in customers’ daily lives through connectivity, financial services, entertainment and urban mobility.
The event brought Beeline Uzbekistan’s digital portfolio into focus: OQ and hambi, payment service Beepul, entertainment platforms KINOM and riitm, AdTech solutions for businesses, and opportunities for integration with Uklon, part of the VEON Group.
Together, these services support the company’s ambition to build stronger, more frequent relationships with customers throughout the day — helping people stay connected, make payments, discover content and move around their cities.
The next stage of this strategy focuses on making services work better together. By connecting relevant products and simplifying the steps between them, Beeline Uzbekistan aims to make everyday tasks easier while encouraging customers to use its digital services more regularly.
Augmented intelligence is another priority. Beeline Uzbekistan is exploring how AI can improve customer support, make services more relevant to individual needs and help employees work more effectively. VEON’s approach to Augmented Intelligence places people at the center of this transformation, using technology to strengthen human capabilities.
“Uzbekistan is an important market for our Digital Operator strategy,” said Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of VEON Group. “By combining connectivity with digital services, we see an opportunity to support people and businesses in more aspects of their daily lives. Augmented Intelligence takes this ambition further: it can help people access knowledge, make better decisions and unlock new opportunities.”
For Beeline Uzbekistan, the commercial priority is to translate the reach of its connectivity business into sustained demand for digital services. More frequent use, relevant cross-product offers and simpler customer journeys are intended to strengthen retention and support the long-term growth of the digital business.
“Our ambition is to make our digital services a natural part of everyday life in Uzbekistan,” said Yevgeniy Nastradin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan. “That means building products people choose to return to, and connecting them wherever this creates clear value — saving time, simplifying payments or making entertainment more accessible. Our next step is to turn the strength of our portfolio into a simpler customer experience and sustainable growth for each business.”
Alongside the demonstrations, VEON leadership and members of its Board of Directors discussed long-term priorities for Uzbekistan, including investment, digital product development and opportunities for closer collaboration across the portfolio.
The Demo Day highlighted Beeline Uzbekistan’s direction: building on its connectivity foundation to develop digital services that earn a lasting place in customers’ lives and contribute to the country’s growing digital economy.
