Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and South Korea’s Yooshin Engineering Corporation intend to develop long-term cooperation in modern airport infrastructure, including the possible involvement of the company’s expertise and specialists in the new Tashkent International Airport project, the Ministry of Transport said.
Uzbekistan’s Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov discussed cooperation with Yooshin Engineering Corporation Chairman Jeong Kyung-soo in Seoul on 13 September. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit.
The sides discussed opportunities to draw on the South Korean corporation’s extensive experience gained through the construction of Incheon International Airport.
Particular attention was paid to involving highly qualified specialists from Yooshin Engineering Corporation in the implementation of the new Tashkent International Airport project.
The sides also discussed prospects for establishing long-term cooperation in developing modern airport infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
