Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's national team secured two gold medals on the opening day of the Asian Track Cycling Cup stage in Bangkok, Thailand, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan reported.

Sergey Rostovtsev won a gold medal for Uzbekistan in the scratch race discipline.

Samira Ismailova earned the team's second gold medal after finishing first in the individual pursuit event.

The two victories brought Uzbekistan's total tally to two gold medals at the end of the first day of competition.
