Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The qualification draw for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 took place on 27 August 2026 at the Asian Football Confederation headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, placing 35 national teams into seven groups of five.

The qualification matches will take place from 8 to 20 November 2026 in a centralized, single-round format. The seven group winners will advance to the final tournament, joining nine teams that automatically qualified based on their performance at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026 in Qatar. The automatically qualified teams include Australia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. Japan enters the competition as the defending Asian champion.

Group A, hosted by Myanmar, features Indonesia, Myanmar, Afghanistan, the Philippines, and Cambodia. Group B, hosted by Thailand, consists of Thailand, Iraq, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, and the Maldives. Group C, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, includes the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Syria, Bhutan, and Macau.

Group D, hosted by Laos, includes Iran, Laos, Jordan, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Group E, hosted by Malaysia, features India, Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore, and Guam. Group F, hosted by Kyrgyzstan, comprises Yemen, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Group G, hosted by Oman, includes Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Brunei Darussalam.

The final stage of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 will take place from 12 to 29 May 2027.
