Uzbekistan Textile Exports Up 26.6% to US$1.9 Billion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan exported US$1.9 billion worth of textile products from January to July 2026, marking a 26.6% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

Finished textile products constituted the primary component of these exports, accounting for 52.2% of the total volume. Yarn accounted for an additional 31.4% of exported textiles.

Overall, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover reached US$49.5 billion during the seven-month period. This represents a year-on-year increase of US$3.7 billion, or 8.1%.

Textile products accounted for approximately 3.8% of the country's total foreign trade turnover during the reporting period.
