Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Russia, together with the representative office of the Migration Agency, assisted in returning an Uzbek citizen to his home country after he sustained serious injuries while working in the consular district covering southern Russia. The Dunyo news agency reported this.

As a result of an accident, citizen D.U. suffered multiple injuries and was hospitalised at a medical facility in the region, where he received the necessary medical care and treatment.

Meanwhile, the Uzbek side organised his transportation to Uzbekistan. Taking into account the injured man's health condition and the recommendations of his doctors, a decision was made to medically evacuate him to his home country.

Two medical specialists travelled from Uzbekistan to Russia to accompany the citizen. They provided the necessary medical monitoring during the flight.

After the organisational arrangements were completed, the citizen was sent to Uzbekistan on a Mineralnye Vody–Tashkent flight accompanied by medical personnel.
