Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The National Agency for Social Protection is providing psychological and social assistance to a five-year-old girl who was harmed in Namangan and her mother. The family will be helped to relocate to another city, where they will receive housing and necessary support, the agency’s First Deputy Director Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva said.
According to her, specialists and psychologists from the agency have been working with the girl and her mother since the beginning of the tragic incident. The family is receiving the necessary assistance during this period.
After the relocation, the family will be provided with housing and receive rehabilitation and comprehensive social support. This will include assistance to the mother with education and employment.
If necessary, the family may also receive assistance in changing their surname to help them begin a new life in safe conditions.
Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva said the situation is under the special supervision of the Presidential Administration. According to her, all relevant government agencies became involved in the work from the first days.
“This crime will not go unpunished,” the First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection said.
