Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade held a meeting on 17 September 2026 with a delegation comprising representatives of companies from Germany and Austria, the ministry said.
The meeting focused on prospects for expanding investment cooperation and implementing joint projects in information and communication technologies, construction materials manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, education, urban development and mechanical engineering.
Representatives of foreign companies presented their proposals for developing cooperation in Uzbekistan and exchanged views on opportunities to implement joint investment projects.
The delegation members were provided with information about socio-economic reforms underway in Uzbekistan, measures to improve the investment climate, benefits and preferences available to foreign investors, as well as business conditions and opportunities to enter regional markets.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to develop prospective project proposals, explore opportunities for their implementation in Uzbekistan and continue regular dialogue in this area.
