Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Jamol Mahsudov and IT Park Uzbekistan Executive Director Jahongir Rajabov held a meeting with representatives of South Korea’s National Information Society Agency (NIA), the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan said.

The sides discussed prospects for cooperation in e-government, data infrastructure and the digital transformation of public services in Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was paid to the development of the AI Data Hub, a data platform for artificial intelligence-based solutions. In particular, the participants considered the formation of datasets for training artificial intelligence models.

Following the talks, the sides agreed to continue developing potential areas of cooperation under the AI Data Hub project, including the exchange of experience and NIA expertise in creating and developing similar platforms, preparing datasets and establishing the necessary infrastructure.

In addition, the format and scope of expert support that NIA will provide during the implementation of the project in Uzbekistan are to be considered in detail.

The National Information Society Agency (NIA) is a government agency of South Korea specializing in digital transformation and information and communication technologies. It was established in 1987. The organization implements projects in artificial intelligence, digital government, data, ICT infrastructure and digital education.

In 2025, through its AI Hub platform, NIA provided about 1.18 billion units of government data for the development and training of artificial intelligence models.
