Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on 29 September 2026 approving an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Türkiye on cooperation in healthcare.

The agreement was signed in Ankara on 29 January 2026, the National Database of Legislation reported.

The agreement was approved in accordance with Article 22 of the Law “On International Treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health has been designated as the competent authority responsible for implementing the agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to notify the Turkish side that Uzbekistan had completed the domestic procedures required for the agreement to enter into force and to inform it of the designated competent authority.

After the agreement enters into force, the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of ministries and agencies are required to ensure oversight of the implementation of its provisions.
