Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A regular Uzbek-German meeting was held in Tashkent to discuss training specialists in Uzbekistan in line with the needs of the German labor market.

The meeting was attended by Migration Agency Director Muhsinkhodzha Abdurakhmonov, GP Günter Papenburg AG Director Angela Papenburg, Eva Schneider, a representative of the German Embassy in Tashkent, GIZ Uzbekistan Team Leader Matthias Klingenberg, as well as representatives of German employers and organizations involved in vocational training.

One of the main topics was the organization of specialist training focused not on individual vacancies, but on obtaining specific professions and qualifications that meet the requirements of potential employers.

The participants discussed opportunities to adapt training programs in Uzbekistan to the needs of the German labor market. Particular attention was paid to employers’ qualification requirements for specialists.

The sides also discussed preparing citizens before their departure for Germany and their subsequent integration after arrival.

The meeting marked another stage in Uzbek-German dialogue on professional training and employment opportunities for specialists in the German labor market.
