Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan registered 373,389 live births in January-June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Namangan recorded the highest number of registered births during the first six months of the year, with 8,181 cases. The Urgut district of Samarkand Region ranked second with 7,014 births.
The city of Andijan registered 6,306 births, followed by the city of Samarkand with 5,559 and Denau district of Surkhandarya Region with 5,542.
The top 10 also included Pastdargom district of Samarkand Region with 3,968 births, Kasan district of Kashkadarya Region with 3,878, and Kamashi district of the same region with 3,874.
In Tashkent’s Almazar district, 3,700 births were registered during the period, while Asaka district of Andijan Region recorded 3,446.
