Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein.

During the talks, both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to enhancing political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and strengthening humanitarian and cultural ties between the two countries.

Particular attention was given to the need to intensify contacts at the highest and high levels, as well as to implement concrete joint initiatives.

The ministers emphasized the presence of significant untapped potential in bilateral relations and expressed readiness to give a new impetus to their development.
