Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's youth swimming team won a gold and a bronze medal at the Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships held in Thailand.
Muhammadismoil Rakhmonov won the gold medal in the under-18 100-meter breaststroke event.
Parizod Abdukarimova secured the bronze medal in the under-18 50-meter backstroke competition.
With these results, the Uzbek national team increased its total medal tally at the continental championship.
