Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s women’s national football team drew 1-1 with the Philippines in the opening round of the football tournament at the 2026 Asian Games. The match was played on 14 September at Gifu Nagaragawa Stadium in Gifu.
Uzbekistan opened the scoring in the 81st minute through Mehribon Egamberdieva.
The Philippines equalized in the 89th minute through Natalie Collins.
Uzbekistan will play its next match against China on 17 September. The game will also be held at Gifu Nagaragawa Stadium and will kick off at 14:00.
Uzbekistan will play its final group-stage match against Hong Kong on 21 September. The match will take place at Wave Stadium Kariya in Kariya and will kick off at 16:00.
