Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s athletics representative Sharifa Davronova has won her second Asian Games gold medal of her career at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
Competing in the triple jump, Davronova recorded 14.35 metres to take first place and become an Asian Games champion.
With the victory, Sharifa Davronova has become a two-time Asian Games champion.
Following her success, Uzbekistan’s medal tally at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games stands at 26 medals: six gold, 12 silver and eight bronze.
