Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of FIFA, the Uzbekistan Football Association and the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan held a working meeting to discuss preparations for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is planned to be jointly hosted by Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The discussions focused on key organizational aspects of the tournament, including the development of sports infrastructure and arrangements necessary for staging the competition.
Particular attention was given to ensuring appropriate conditions for participating national teams and visitors attending the championship.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation and coordinate their efforts to ensure the tournament is organized to a high standard.
