Uzbek leader holds meeting to discuss the priorities of the long-term development of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 October, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the participation of adviser Suma Chakrabarti, considered strategic directions for continuing the reform program in our country for the long term.

Particular attention is paid to identifying new points of growth and ensuring the effective promotion of reforms in Uzbekistan, based on a deep and comprehensive analysis, taking into account international best practices and competence.

In particular, the priorities of modernization and increasing the competitiveness of key sectors of the country’s economy, deepening the reform of the public administration system and dramatically improving the quality of management personnel, improving the investment climate and business environment in the republic were considered.
