Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Ferghana region is preparing for the next stage of a project to build a modern 800-bed multidisciplinary hospital under a public-private partnership, the regional administration said.
During a working visit to Saudi Arabia, Ferghana regional governor Khairullo Bozorov met with Juma Salih Al-Araimi, chief operating officer of investment holding company Vision Invest.
The two sides discussed the project’s current status, preparations for the start of construction and the next steps required for its implementation.
The project aims to modernise the region’s healthcare system, improve the quality of medical services and introduce international experience in the sector.
The foundation stone for the hospital is scheduled to be laid in December 2026.
