Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- UNIStream international money transfer system signed a partnership agreement with Kapitalbank in Uzbekistan, which envisages development of service points through branch network of the Uzbek bank.

UNIStream plans to increase its service points by 40 in Uzbekistan. At the end of 2008, number of UNIStream service points was 600.

Kapitalbank has branches in Tashkent, Nukus, Turkul, Beruni, Termez, Denau, Baysun, Ferghana, Kokand, Kuva and Rishtan.

Suren Ayriyan, director-general of UNIStream, said the agreement is directed to development partnership network in the CIS and Asia. He said the UNIStream business is developing and the company plans to develop relations with local partners.

Ayriyan said the turnover of UNIStream in Uzbekistan rose 88% in 2008 to US$787 million.
