Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 10 September, AIFC Green Finance Centre Ltd. (GFC) and HYT-CAPITAL signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation as part of Astana Finance Days 2026.

The document is aimed at developing partnerships in implementing sustainable projects and developing sustainable financing instruments.

The memorandum provides a framework for the joint preparation, structuring and financing of projects aligned with sustainable development principles. The parties also intend to cooperate in developing and applying financial instruments that help attract investment to projects with environmental and social objectives.

As part of the cooperation, GFC plans to provide expert and advisory support on sustainable finance and the application of ESG approaches, as well as participate in project assessment and structuring, identifying sources of financing and finding investment partners.

HYT-CAPITAL, in turn, will support the development and implementation of promising projects that meet sustainable and responsible investment requirements. The parties intend to focus particularly on projects with investment appeal and the potential to attract private and institutional capital.

The memorandum also creates opportunities to develop cross-border mechanisms for project preparation and financing between Uzbekistan’s capital market and the sustainable finance platform of the Astana International Financial Centre. This includes, in particular, transaction structuring, attracting international investors and using modern green and sustainable finance instruments.

Manas Gizhduaniev, CEO of AIFC Green Finance Centre, noted growing interest among Uzbekistan’s market participants in sustainable finance instruments.

“For us, the growing interest of Uzbekistan’s market participants in sustainable finance is a positive signal for the entire region. The signed memorandum creates a foundation for joint work on projects and financial instruments aligned with sustainable development principles,” he said.

Abduazimkhuja Abdujabborov, CEO of HYT-CAPITAL, emphasized that the agreement opens up additional opportunities for Uzbek companies and projects.

“We view this memorandum as a starting point for expanding access for Uzbek companies and projects to modern sustainable finance instruments and international expertise. It also opens up new opportunities for attracting capital and further developing the country’s capital market,” he said.

HYT-CAPITAL is an investment banking company that is part of the Hayot Bank financial ecosystem. The company operates in Tashkent and is a licensed professional participant in Uzbekistan’s securities market, providing investment intermediary and investment advisory services.

The relevant licenses were issued by the National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP). HYT-CAPITAL is also a member of the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent.”

Cooperation between GFC and HYT-CAPITAL reflects the development of regional cooperation in sustainable finance and the expansion of opportunities to attract international capital to projects focused on long-term economic, environmental and social development.
