The volume of accommodation and food services reach 18.32 trillion soums in 2023

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-December 2023, the volume of accommodation and food services reached 18.3 trillion soums, according to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

This figure increased by 12.6% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

The highest growth rates for these services were recorded in the Samarkand region (+30.9%).

Growth rates of accommodation and food services by region:

Republic of Karakalpakstan - 7.3%

Andijan region – 13.7%

Bukhara region - 9.1%

Jizzakh region - 9.2%

Kashkadarya region - 10.3%

Navoi region - 2.2%

Namangan region – 9.3%

Samarkand region – 30.9%

Surkhandarya region - 10.9%

Syrdarya region - 15.8%

Tashkent region - 9.4%

Fergana region – 11.1%

Khorezm region - 10.3%

Tashkent city – 12.5%
