England Reach World Cup Semi-finals After Extra-Time Win

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — England advanced to the FIFA World Cup semi-finals after defeating Norway 2-1 following extra time in their quarter-final match in Miami.

Norway took the lead in the 36th minute through midfielder Andreas Schjelderup. England equalised before half-time when Jude Bellingham scored in first-half stoppage time, on the second minute of added time.

The match remained level after 90 minutes. England secured victory in extra time when Bellingham scored his second goal of the match in the 93rd minute.

England will face the winner of the World Cup quarter-final between Argentina and Switzerland, scheduled for 12 July, in the semi-finals. The semi-final involving England will be played on 16 July.
