The program covered key tourist destinations, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.

In Tashkent, Greig visited the Center for Islamic Civilization, the Rahimov ceramic studio, the “Okhun Guzar” tourist street, and the “Namuna” art residency, and also took part in cultural events.

In Samarkand, the delegation explored UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Registan Square, the Gur-e-Amir mausoleum, and the Imam al-Bukhari complex, as well as the modern Silk Road Samarkand tourism cluster.

In Bukhara, the program included visits to the historic city center, craft workshops, and contemporary art spaces reflecting the region’s rich cultural heritage.

In Khiva, the guest visited the open-air museum of Itchan Kala, gaining insight into the city’s key architectural monuments.

Special attention was given to gastronomic tourism, where the guest was introduced to traditional Uzbek cuisine alongside modern culinary concepts.

It is expected that the outcomes of the visit and potential international media coverage will contribute to further increasing global interest in Uzbekistan, strengthening its tourism brand, and expanding the country’s international visibility.
