Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, is on an official visit to Uzbekistan on 29–30 September.
The delegation was welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov and Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA).
The visit programme includes visits to a number of projects and facilities aimed at promoting football in the country, developing football infrastructure and strengthening international cooperation.
Particular attention will be given to the development of Uzbek football, support for young talent and further promotion of the sport in Uzbekistan.
