Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In January–August 2026, 5.3 million Uzbek citizens travelled abroad for tourism.

Compared with the same period in 2025, the figure increased by 109,900 people, the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The largest number of trips by Uzbek citizens was to the Kyrgyz Republic, at 2,427,526 people. Kazakhstan came second with 955,829 visitors, and Tajikistan third, with 876,650 Uzbek citizens travelling there.

The top ten also included Russia with 257,567 people, Türkiye with 212,265, Saudi Arabia with 184,155, the UAE with 56,910, China with 52,043, Egypt with 39,599 and Vietnam with 33,439.

The largest volume of tourist trips by Uzbek citizens in January–August therefore came in neighbouring Central Asian countries.
