Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Kuwait held the third round of political consultations via videoconference on 29 September 2026, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Uzbek delegation was led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bahromjon Aloev. Kuwait was represented by Nawaf Abdulatif Al-Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait for Asian Affairs.
The main focus of the talks was strengthening political dialogue between the two countries. The sides also discussed the development of trade and economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The diplomats paid particular attention to cooperation between Tashkent and Kuwait City within international organizations.
The participants also exchanged views on current regional issues.
