Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A Syria–Uzbekistan trade house will begin operations in the Syrian city of Aleppo to promote Uzbek products on foreign markets and create new export opportunities for local manufacturers, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.

Entrepreneurs and manufacturers have been invited to provide product samples for placement and display at the trade house.

Priority areas include the furniture industry, technical gauze products, pharmaceuticals, confectionery and cable products, as well as mineral fertilizers.

The costs of collecting the samples, delivering them to Syria and displaying them at the trade house will be covered by the Trade Development Company JSC.
