Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —  From January to October 2024, Uzbekistan welcomed approximately 6.5 million foreign tourists.

According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Agency, this represents an increase of 951,300 visitors (17.2%) compared to the same period last year.

The distribution of tourists by country for January-October 2024 is as follows:

- Tajikistan – 1,878,500 people

- Kyrgyzstan – 1,870,300 people

- Kazakhstan – 1,267,500 people

- Russia – 686,700 people

- Turkmenistan – 145,000 people

- Turkey – 95,700 people

- China – 57,700 people

- India – 55,900 people

- South Korea – 36,500 people

- Italy – 36,300 people

- Other countries – 366,600 people
