Over 3.53 million foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan for tourism purposes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, during January-June 2024, 3.53 million foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.

This number increased by 415.6 thousand people or 13.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.

The number of foreign citizens entering the Republic of Uzbekistan

from January to June of the current year for tourism purposes by country:

• Kyrgyz Republic – 1,057.4 thousand people;
• Tajikistan – 1,046.2 thousand people;
• Kazakhstan – 668.4 thousand people;
• Russia – 364.5 thousand people;
• Turkmenistan – 67.2 thousand people;
• Türkiye – 51.9 thousand people;
• China – 28.7 thousand people;
• India – 28.2 thousand people;
• South Korea – 19.6 thousand people;
• Italy – 17.7 thousand people;
• Other countries – 181 thousand people.
