Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — American YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, met fans in Tashkent on 9 October.

During an interactive programme, three participants received cash prizes of 100 million soums each, while other selected guests received commemorative gifts.

Tashkent was the first stop on the blogger’s tour of Central Asia. The event was organised by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation in cooperation with the Tourism Committee.

Access to the event was granted after applicants completed a form and were selected at random. Those invited received personalised QR codes granting entry to the venue.

The programme featured challenges, quizzes and logic-based tasks in the format characteristic of MrBeast’s videos. The main prizes were three cases containing 100 million soums each in cash. The winners showed their prizes to the assembled audience, which congratulated them and watched the proceedings.

The organisers also prepared souvenirs for the other participants who had been selected. They received gift sets containing fabric tote bags, notebooks, bracelets and stickers. After the event, some young people shared part of their gifts with a little girl who had been watching the gathering from the sidelines.

Guests were also offered Feastables chocolate, a brand owned by MrBeast. The sweets were distributed from a cart.

The blogger and his team also received gifts connected with Uzbek culture. A local artist presented them with a painting depicting members of the team wearing traditional chapans.

Blogger Maryam Tillyaeva, in turn, gave MrBeast a specially tailored chapan bearing his signature logo and the word “Uzbekistan”. She announced the gift on Instagram.

The visit also attracted interest from local businesses. Companies and venues began publishing promotional videos referencing the arrival of the popular YouTuber.

Some posts used images of MrBeast and created the impression that he had visited specific establishments or was personally endorsing their products and services.

Amid the excitement, reports circulated on social media claiming that a red Lamborghini featured in one of the blogger’s challenges had been involved in an accident in Tashkent.

The capital’s Main Traffic Safety Department denied the reports, stating that the car had travelled around the city without incident. MrBeast later clarified that the supercar had been damaged during filming in Delhi.

After the meeting in Tashkent, the blogger travelled to Samarkand, where he also attracted large crowds of fans.

Videos posted on social media showed people surrounding Donaldson and trying to get closer to him. Regional law enforcement officers monitored his movements, but the crowds made it difficult for him to move freely.

The Tashkent event became one of the notable moments of MrBeast’s visit to Central Asia, bringing together cash giveaways, fan interactions and gifts reflecting local traditions.
