Milliy Tiklanish to fight for increasing number of MPs at parliament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Milliy Tiklanish will fight for increasing number of MPs of the party at the Legislative Chamber during the second round of the elections, the party’s statement said.

The party noted that according to preliminary results, announced by the Central Election Commission, 28 MPs elected to the Legislative Chamber.

Milliy Tiklanish said that the party wanted to receive more places, but could not achieve it. The party will analyze the election process to eliminate shortages.

The party stated that it will fight to claim more seats in the lower house of the Uzbek parliament in the second round of the elections.
