Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang will visit Kazakhstan for the first time as a special guest of AI Month in Astana. His visit will take place at the invitation of Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev.
AI Month will bring together artificial intelligence specialists, developers, startups, researchers and representatives of the technology sector. The series of events is being held with the support of Astana Hub.
The AI Month program will begin on 23 September with HackAlem AI, an international AI hackathon whose participants will have access to NVIDIA’s technological resources to develop and test their own solutions.
On 1 October, the AI Development Council will hold a meeting with the participation of NVIDIA Vice President Rev Lebaredian. On 2–3 October, the program will include the international technology forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026, along with other events dedicated to artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
AI Month will conclude on 23 October with a special event at the International Artificial Intelligence Center alem.ai. Jensen Huang will hold a fireside chat with Zhaslan Madiyev.
The discussion is expected to cover the global development of artificial intelligence, key technology trends, training the next generation of AI specialists and Central Eurasia’s prospects on the global technology map.
Kazakhstan’s cooperation with the global AI industry extends beyond AI Month. One example cited is Higgsfield, an AI-powered platform for creating videos and images that is valued at US$5.4 billion.
Higgsfield is a participant in Astana Hub and uses NVIDIA computing infrastructure and software.
According to the company, more than 6 million videos and images are created on the platform every day. The company also cooperates with Astana Hub to support the region’s technology ecosystem.
Higgsfield Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Yerzat Dulat said Kazakhstan could become a center for AI innovation and talent attraction, highlighting the importance of cooperation with NVIDIA and Astana Hub.
As part of its Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, Kazakhstan is developing a national AI ecosystem, including specialist training, support for technology entrepreneurship and the creation of infrastructure for developing and deploying AI solutions.
