Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A formal welcome ceremony for President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held on 14 September at Cheong Wa Dae, the residence of the President of the Republic of Korea. The Uzbek presidential press service said.
Mirziyoyev and his wife were welcomed by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and his wife.
An honour guard was drawn up to welcome the Uzbek president. Following the national anthems of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, the two presidents reviewed the honour guard and greeted members of the official delegations from both countries.
Mirziyoyev then signed the guest book at Cheong Wa Dae.
Following a joint photo session, the presidents began high-level talks.
