Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Tashkent Region, led by regional governor Zoir Mirzaev, discussed prospects for investment, trade and economic, logistics and industrial cooperation with China’s SOHO Holdings Group, the Tashkent Region administration said.

The meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China as part of the regional delegation’s working visit. The sides reviewed the investment potential of Tashkent Region, its existing industrial infrastructure and prospective projects of mutual interest.

SOHO Holdings Group is one of the largest wholly state-owned corporations in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. The company was established in 2023 through the merger of four major state-owned enterprises in the city.

The corporation operates in various sectors, including raw materials and mineral resources trading, energy, international trade, textile production, logistics, innovative manufacturing and financial services.

SOHO Holdings Group maintains foreign economic relations with more than 160 countries. Its structure includes around 400 subsidiaries employing more than 25,000 people.

During the talks, the sides discussed in detail opportunities to expand trade and economic ties, implement new investment projects, and develop logistics and industrial cooperation.

Following the meeting, the sides outlined prospects for further practical cooperation between Tashkent Region and Jiangsu Province, including the implementation of major projects and strengthening mutually beneficial economic ties.
