Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Angren and Chinese company Xin Lantian have reached preliminary agreements on new investment projects in the industrial sector, the Tashkent Region administration said.
Angren Mayor Alisher Rayemov held talks with Xin Lantian’s founders in Miqiu, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.
During the meeting, the Chinese side was presented with information on Angren’s investment potential, industrial infrastructure and opportunities for project implementation, as well as conditions created for foreign investors.
The sides discussed prospects for developing industrial cooperation and implementing new investment initiatives.
Following the talks, preliminary agreements were reached on organising the processing of copper raw materials and producing electrical distribution equipment and insulation materials.
The projects are expected to create new production facilities and additional jobs in Angren, as well as expand industrial cooperation.
