Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Namangan region has reached agreements on new investment projects in livestock farming and poultry production during a visit to the Republic of Korea, the Namangan regional press service said.
In the city of Hongseong, regional representatives visited major agro-industrial complexes and studied technologies used by their foreign partners to organize production.
At Seongcheong Farm, the delegation was introduced to modern technologies used in poultry farming and milk processing, as well as the organization of a continuous production cycle.
At the BAEKGWANG FOOD livestock complex, representatives from Namangan region studied systems for keeping farm animals, the preparation of quality feed and methods to improve productivity.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to launch a modern livestock and poultry-feed production facility in Namangan region using the experience of South Korean companies.
The next stage will involve a visit by Korean investors and specialists to Namangan region. They will assess the local market, the region’s raw-material base and logistics opportunities, after which the parties will determine further measures to implement the joint project.
The project is expected to strengthen the region’s feed supply and increase livestock production.
