Khorezm Region Receives 30 New ZHONGTONG Buses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A fleet of 30 modern ZHONGTONG buses purchased by LLC Bunyod yo'lovchi tashish has been delivered to the Khorezm region, according to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

The delivery brings the total number of new buses brought into the region since the beginning of 2026 to 90 units.

The new rolling stock is scheduled to be deployed in the coming days onto internal bus routes serving the city of Urgench.

Passenger transportation services will be organized on the basis of gross contracts.

The fleet renewal is being carried out as part of efforts to develop regional public transport, enhance service quality, and modernize existing rolling stock.

The deployment of the new buses is expected to increase passenger comfort and safety, improve service quality for the local population, and boost overall efficiency within the public transport system.
