Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health, the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and French organization AP-HP International discussed prospects for joint healthcare projects, Dunyo news agency reported.

The online meeting was held with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan. Participants focused on improving emergency and urgent medical care, enhancing specialists’ qualifications and introducing modern information technologies.

The sides also discussed medical personnel training and the possibility of applying French experience in the further development of Uzbekistan’s healthcare system.

During the talks, participants exchanged views on ways to expand practical cooperation and implement joint initiatives.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue work in the identified areas, develop joint educational programs for medical specialists and jointly explore prospective projects.
