Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent has temporarily changed the routes of several city bus services due to repair work on utility networks along Akkurgan Street and the temporary closure of a section of the road.

The Tashkent Transport Department said changes had been made to the routes of six bus services.

Routes No. 2 and 136 have been temporarily shortened, with their terminal stop moved to the Hydrometeorological Centre stop.

Routes No. 58 and 199 will operate as far as the NBU Sports Complex stop.

Route No. 88 has been diverted via Katta Darkhan Street, the Small Ring Road and Parkent Street.

Routes No. 89 and 95 will operate via an alternative route along Asia Street, Akkurgan Street, Mustaqillik Avenue and Parkent Street.

The department warned that the redistribution of traffic on nearby streets could lead to congestion, while intervals between buses may increase. The routes may be adjusted operationally if necessary.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes where possible.
