Pulat Bobojonov Leaves Presidential Administration for New Job

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Pulat Bobojonov has been relieved of his position as deputy adviser to the President of Uzbekistan on personnel matters due to his transfer to another job, according to a presidential decree.

The decision was made as part of efforts to optimize the structure of the Presidential Administration.

As part of the changes, the position of presidential adviser on personnel matters and the corresponding department have been abolished within the Presidential Administration.

At the same time, certain areas of responsibility have been redistributed among other departments. In particular, the Compliance Service has been additionally tasked with implementing a unified state policy in the areas of state awards and heraldry.

The Compliance Service has also been assigned responsibility for interacting with local government authorities and coordinating their activities.

Another change involves expanding the responsibilities of the department of the presidential adviser for representative bodies, non-governmental non-profit organizations and youth. Its additional tasks include further improving the effectiveness of the mahalla institution.

The personnel and structural changes provide for the redistribution of functions among the departments of the Presidential Administration as part of efforts to optimize its operations.
