Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s filling stations generated 3.69 trillion soums in fuel sales in August, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

Average daily revenue at filling stations amounted to 119.1 billion soums during the month. While the figure fluctuated from day to day, the overall trend remained stable throughout August.

A total of 18,116,296 transactions were recorded at filling stations during the month, averaging 584,396 transactions per day.

Bank card payments accounted for the largest share of average daily revenue, at 91.2%, or 108.6 billion soums.

Instant cards accounted for another 6.6%, or 7.8 billion soums, while fuel cards made up 2.2%, or 2.7 billion soums.
